Disassembly Line
A roguelike twin-stick shooter set in a factory filled with endless hostile robots.
Genre: Roguelike Shooter
Role: Game Designer, Narrative Designer, 2D Art Assistant, Playtester
Team Size: 3 people

My Contributions:
-Designed the core gameplay loop, including item abilities and game mechanics, around the central theme of "exchange".
-Wrote game story, synopsis and game over text.
-Designed individual enemy attack patterns and a unique "pancake" system to randomize encounters
-Documented gameplay systems for teammates to reference, and assisted with art and playtesting
Sunspot
A stealthy horror game demo set in an abandoned nuclear fusion facility.
Genre: Stealth Horror
Role: Game Designer, Narrative Designer, Level Designer, Playtester
Team Size: 9 people

My Contributions:
-Designed the gameplay levels and puzzles, and assisted with blocking and prop placement to tell stories through the environment.
-Wrote the game's story, including character backgrounds, notes, documents, and tooltips.
-Documented and organized the game's main mechanics and systems for teammates to reference and build upon.
CARJU
An arcade-style driving game where you destroy a city to grow larger and larger.
Genre: Arcade Driving Game

Team Size: 7 people

My Contributions:
-Designed, blocked out, and populated the main gameplay level to allow for infinite scaling
-Designed and documented core gameplay loop, including character size transitions values and win condition
-Communicated with teammates to reduce unnecessary scope and ensure the game was completed within a week's timeframe
rat_race
A dread-soaked interactive simulation of modern employment.
Genre: Horror Arcade Simulator

My Contributions:
-Designed the core gameplay loop, including minigames, money scaling systems, and "win" condition.
-Wrote flavor text and composed music to create a grim, hopeless tone and aesthetic.
-Collaborated with programmer to ensure key systems were completed on time, and provided assistance when necessary.
